About 5 years ago I purchased this plant from the Botanical Garden flower sale.  I had no Idea what it was or if I would be able to keep it alive.  Fortunately for the flower I didn’t have to do very much to keep it alive.  It has bloomed every year since I planted it.  It is known as a Hellebore.  It blooms in the very early spring and sometimes again in the late fall.  It is pretty frost resistant, and tends to stay green throughout the winter.

This is the only picture I have ever taken of the Hellebore.  I will try and take some this fall if it flowers again.
